8 modules
Skylight Waves is an eight-module course in which we provide support and care for those who have suffered bereavement as a result of the suicide of a loved one.
People who participate in the course will learn about bereavement and suicide and take part in group discussions and support.
Able Minds’ trained facilitators support participants in the programme to meet and share with other people who are also experiencing the impact of suicide.
They will explore aspects of their grief and reduce isolation and stigma associated with bereavement by suicide in a safe and supportive environment.
Participants also receive information and strategies about how to care for themselves and others, including children and young people, after a suicide, and adjust to living with loss and moving forward with positivity and strength.
